Roberto Fisher is the Vice President of Product for M-GO, where he leads product development and all aspects of M-GO’s product strategy, including enhancements, features, UI/UX, usability, and new offerings. Roberto also oversees customer care.
Known for his career-spanning passion for technology innovation, Roberto joins M-GO with unparalleled creativity in growing consumer engagement with digital entertainment, media and music. Most recently he served as Vice President of Product for MySpace Music for Fox Interactive Media, guiding that site to emerge as the web’s number two consumer Internet destination. He brings more than two decades of experience across digital domains, supporting premium subscription, ad-supported, and shrink-wrap business models as well as professional products and service industries.
Prior to Fox, Roberto spent more than six years guiding Yahoo! through growth and innovation as Senior Director of Product Management, driving product strategy, key product and technology initiatives, partnerships, and the growth of Yahoo!’s music business. His leadership helped make Yahoo! Music the early web’s #1 consumer music destination and the leading worldwide provider of music videos and Internet radio. He joined Yahoo! through its acquisition of LAUNCH Media, where he served as VP of Technology, Operations and Production for the groundbreaking website.
Roberto built his career on a foundation of IT, application and automation design, and web innovation for Citicorp, CB Richard Ellis, and Oracle Corporation, where he held shaped e-business leadership through a range of VP-level positions. He spearheaded global retail investment product management for Citicorp and helped shape the company’s central data and messaging architecture team. His work at CB Richard Ellis and Oracle spanned systems development and integration, content systems, enterprise automation, customer relationship management, and he was one of the early people to pilot database and metadata innovations focused on rich media.
Roberto graduated with honors from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Values, Technology, Science and Society. At Stanford, he was a Residential Academic Coordinator and Resident Assistant, a member of the Leland Stanford Junior Marching Band, a Board Member for the Ram’s Head Theatrical Society, and a Charter Member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
